After that Abi Trust Collaborate with CACL Organization,, conducted the survey about Child Labour. At the result, it comes to know that most of the child labourers becomes Street Vendor in Covid period.

We have sensitized and Trained 2640 Scavengers from 528 Panchayats in Tiruchirappalli District. Also we have issued Identity Cards to these workers.
1400 Rice-mill Workers (women) have been oriented on Labour Rights and Entitlements from 90 Rice mills in and around Tiruchirappalli city and suburban areas. They were given training in Labour Rights and Leadership. Every year, they observe International May Day through consultations and seminars and mass-gatherings
110 Women workers were enabled to get their due compensation from their employers who denied them their rights and welfare. Through negotiations and legal actions, the women were able to uphold their rights and entitlements.
255 Over Head Tank Pump Operators of Grama Panchayats were organized in to workers union. They were enabled to get their due wages and through continuous lobby and advocacy through negotiations, their wages were hiked.
1430 Young women and Adolescent Girls were trained in Sewing and Embroidery and were issued with a Certificate at the end of the vocational training courses. Of them, 60% are self employed while 10% are job placed.
Abi Trust has formed 86 Self Help Groups with a membership of 1040 women. So far, Abi Trust has enabled the women to get a loan up to 5 crore rupees. It was ensured that at least 80% of them invested in income generating programmes / business and generated income.
100 Rural Dalit women were linked to Canara Bank for livelihood support. Each woman received a minimum of INR.5000 to 10000 for carrying out petty businesses.
Abi Trust has been instrumental to planting 5000 plus tree saplings in 100 villages.
Eleven Anganwadies have been helped to get Educational Supplies, Furniture and other infrastructure facilities from the local communities.
10 Anganwadies were enabled to establish Eco Gardens in their premises. Some of the workers cultivated vegetables which they cooked and served to the children. The cultivation method is purely organic in nature.
Campaign against Child Trafficking through Post Cards was carried out. Following the Press Conference, 7500 post cards were sent to Prime Minister of India.
20 Naturopathy & Yoga Camps have been conducted and 150 women and children benefited. They were also supplied natural food stuffs.
After COVID,for 2 Anganwadies we Conducted the health and hygiene programs for that particular children to know about washing their hands and toiletries usage and provided handwashing and baby toilet kits.
